BONSERNEWS.com – Heavy storms and flash floods hit the island of Bali on July 7, 2023 at 10.30 pm.

This natural disaster resulted in severe damage and disruption to local communities.

The past few days, heavy rainfall and special astronomical conditions have caused sea levels to surge and overflow of rivers in a number of areas.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) for the Province of Bali warned about the potential for tidal flooding in 24 coastal or coastal areas of Bali in the period 5 to 8 July 2023.

This phenomenon is associated with the full moon and perigee phases, which raise sea levels.

In Sanggulan Village, Tabanan Bali, heavy flooding caused housing complexes to be submerged.

Residents’ cars were washed away and a number of houses were damaged. Meanwhile, Pengambengan Village, Jembrana Bali, also experienced significant flood inundation.

Thousands of houses and rice fields were submerged, causing residents to flee.

Not only that, Badung Regency was also hit by flooding on Jalan Raya Blahkio Village, Abiansemal District.

Heavy rains that occurred for several days caused the water to overflow on the main road, making it difficult for vehicles to pass.
