BONSERNEWS.com – Deputy Chairman of Commission I DPR RI, Bambang Kristiono passed away on Thursday (20/7/2023) morning.
The Gerindra Party politician reportedly died of a heart attack.
“The information (died from a heart attack). Yesterday afternoon there was still time to exercise and after that maybe I was tired,” said Chairman of Commission I DPR RI, Meutya Hafid.

Commission I of the DPR RI, said Hafid, condolences on the death of Bambang.
He said, Bambang died while on duty during a visit in Manado, North Sulawesi.
“We, Commission I, are very sad to hear this news. He was in Manado yesterday during a working visit of Commission 1, he was healthy and carrying out his duties very well,” said Meutya Hafid.

As information, Bambang Kristiono was born in Purwakarta on December 25, 1960.
In 2016, Bambang Kristiono, started his political career in the Gerindra Party as Chair of the Gerindra Party’s Supervisory and Disciplinary Body (BPD).
In 2019, Bambang Kristiono, decided to run for election from the NTB 2 electoral district.
In the legislative body, Bambang has served as Deputy Chairman of Commission I of the DPR until now.
