BONSERNEWS.com – The K Link Tower building incident caught fire at around 10.00 WIB today.
Head of the Operational Section for the South Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service, Trianto, said the source of the fire came from a restaurant on the 7th floor.
“The information we received from the building because it came from a restaurant. Only where did the fire come from, the police are currently investigating,” said Trianto.

They have not been able to determine the cause of this fire.
Trianto explained that the fire allegedly struck the videotron which is on the east side of the K-Link Tower building.
So that the videotron on display was burnt.

The blazing fire also burned the outside of the building up to the 16th floor, but only the 7th floor had an impact on the inside.
“Earlier the impact reached the 16th floor. So it only spread to the outside of the glass side of the building,” said Trianto.
At least three people died from this fire.
Two of them suffered burns to their hands and feet and were rushed to the hospital. “He is an employee of a restaurant,” said Trianto.
He said, the number of firefighters deployed was 100 personnel with 22 units.
Currently, the blackout was successfully carried out at 12.30 WIB, the firefighters had already left the location.
