Mahfud MD Again Conveys a Number of Latest Statements About Islamic Boarding Schools or Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding Schools

BONSERNEWS.com – The Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Security (Menkopolhukam) Mahfud MD again delivered a number of recent statements about Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School or Islamic Boarding School.
One of them, Mahfud MD, suspected that Panji Gumilang and his family as the leaders of the Islamic boarding school had misused Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School assets.
Some of the assets allegedly misused include land belonging to the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School whose certificate of ownership is in the name of Panji Gumilang and his family.

“We have reported (to Bareskrim Polri) the existence of land certificates in the name of Panji Gumilang and his family, which are suspected of having something to do with the abuse of Al Zaytun’s wealth. Because the lands were written in private names, in the personal names of Panji Gumilang, his wife and their children,” said Mahfud MD.
According to him, the results of checking with the National Land Agency (BPN) showed that there were 295 plots of land whose certificates were in the name of Panji Gumilang and his family.
“Basically, there are 295 certificates. We are still looking for pseudonyms for certificates that may use other names, so they haven’t been found yet,” said Mahfud MD.
In addition, Mahfud MD said that as many as 145 accounts related to the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School and Panji Gumilang had been frozen.

In total there were 367 accounts found by the investigation team.
