If you look at the day, this week the workers may be able to enjoy the long Eid al-Adha holiday for 5 days.
Because joint leave itself is given from Wednesday 28 June and Friday 30 June, while Thursday 29 June is the Eid al-Adha national holiday.

Meanwhile, the 1st and 2nd of July happen to be Saturday and Sunday which are indeed holidays.
Beyond that, the government itself has ensured that the 2023 Eid Al-Adha Joint Leave given to state servants, including civil servants, will not reduce their leave rights.
This is as stated in Presidential Decree (KEPPRES) 24 of 2022 concerning leave with State Civil Apparatus Employees in 2023.

“Joint leave as referred to in the first dictum does not reduce the annual leave rights of State Civil Apparatus Employees,” wrote the regulation.
In fact, the same regulation also mentions civil servants who because of their position are not given the right to joint leave, their annual leave rights are actually increased in accordance with the number of joint leaves that are not given.
Unfortunately, this provision is different for private employees.
The Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah said that Eid al-Adha Leave for private employees is optional, meaning it is not mandatory.
Ida Fauziyah emphasized that the joint leave agreement for private employees is carried out based on a joint agreement between the company and workers by taking into account the company’s operational needs.
“Because what was agreed was joint leave, in fact what I said earlier, the implementation of joint leave is optional or optional in accordance with the agreement of the worker or laborer taking into account the conditions and operational needs of the company,” said Ida Fauziah.
