Ahead of the 2024 Election, Acting Governor of DKI Asks for Neutral ASN

BONSERNEWS.com – Acting (Pj) Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono delivered his remarks at the Jakarta City’s 496th Birthday (HUT) ceremony.
Heru invited all state civil servants (ASN) in the DKI Provincial Government to maintain neutrality and avoid provocations.
“Ahead of the simultaneous elections and local elections in 2024, Jakarta will be the center of attention as a national political barometer. I invite all state civil servants (ASN) to maintain integrity and professionalism by remaining neutral,” said Heru, Thursday 22 June 2023.

Heru also invited all levels of society to keep the situation in the city of Jakarta conducive. He suggested that people exercise their right to vote responsibly.
“I also invite all elements of society to keep the situation in Jakarta conducive to exercising their right to vote responsibly,” he explained.

The former Mayor of North Jakarta also appealed to the public to avoid provocations and actions that threaten public order (trantim). Finally, he invited the celebration of the 496th anniversary to strengthen the synergy to make Jakarta a global city.
“Avoid provocations and actions that could disrupt the security of public order. Let us make the spirit of celebrating DKI’s 496th Anniversary an opportunity to strengthen synergy in efforts to build Jakarta’s future as a global city that is a leading element in Indonesia’s progress,” he said. ()
