Apple Standby Schedule Clashes with Persija, NasDem: Sorry The Jakmania!

BONSERNEWS.com – The NasDem Party apologized to The Jakmania fans for not being able to witness Persija Jakarta’s home match against Bhayangkara FC at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK), Sunday, July 16 2023, because it coincided with the Call for Change Alert for the NasDem Party.
“On behalf of the committee chairman, I really, really regret this schedule conflict. We also want to apologize to friends of The Jakmania,” said Deputy Chairperson of the NasDem Party, Ahmad Ali, Tuesday 11 July 2023.
Based on the League 1 schedule, Persija Jakarta vs Bhayangkara FC will play at home at GBK on Sunday, 16/7/2023. This match is planned to be played at 19.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, the Call for Changes to the NasDem Party was also held on the same day. Because the schedule clashed, finally Persija played at the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, West Java.
According to Ali, the occurrence of this schedule clash was not the wish of the NasDem Party. In fact, the NasDem administrators and the committee for the Change Standby Ceremony only became aware of a clash in schedules a few days ago and the event committee had already made various preparations, so they could not cancel the agenda that had been prepared.
“If we had known from the start, we would have given in. But because we really weren’t informed by the organizers (GBK). We hope that this incident is not an attempt to clash the NasDem with the national football agenda,” he said.

Furthermore, Ahmad Ali explained in more detail the process. He said, the NasDem Party DPP had applied for a loan for the GBK Stadium on 16 February 2023, then it was approved by the GBK organizers on 28 February 2023.
When it was approved until the process of paying off the administration for using GBK, there was no notification to the NasDem Party or the Apel Siaga committee that there were other national events using GBK.
“So, we really don’t understand why the schedule could collide with the national football event between Persija vs Bhayangkara.”
Even if there is disappointment from Persija Jakarta supporters due to this clashing schedule, members of the DPR’s Commission III can understand it. “We can understand this disappointment,” said Ali, empathetic.
However, this disappointment does not fit with the figure of Anies Baswedan. This is because the Change Standby Apple event is not an activity carried out by Anies Basewadan, but an event to consolidate NasDem Party cadres to prepare for the 2024 elections.
“Anies is actually the governor who really cares and cares about The Jakmania. Anies built JIS for Persija to use. NasDem then pushed to hasten so that JIS could be used for Persija matches,” he said.
