BONSERNEWS.com – Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto visited the residence of the National Awakening Party (PKB) chairman Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) who had just returned from a pilgrimage, in Widya Chandra, South Jakarta.
“Indeed, I have planned to have the sowan welcome Cak Imin’s return from the pilgrimage,” said Prabowo, Monday 10 July 2023.
On this occasion Prabowo conveyed to journalists some of the results of his meeting with Cak Imin, including the matter of the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) who would accompany him in the upcoming 2024 elections.

According to Prabowo, until now Gerindra and PKB are still negotiating because the result will be a big decision for the state and nation.
“So this is a big decision for our country and nation. We are still negotiating carefully for the vice presidential candidate. We want to get something that is really right. I have said, PKB and Gerindra have signed a political agreement and that means we are moving forward, every time We discussed the problem, so we were quite open about it earlier, and that is what we want to defend. I am very grateful for the PKB’s trust, the trust given by Gus Muhaimin Iskandar. What is in our minds is only the interests of the nation, state and people of Indonesia,” said Prabowo.

He ensured that the decision on the vice presidential candidate would not be rash and reckless, but based on a democratic decision.
