BONSERNEWS.com – Panji Gumilang who is the leader of the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) is in the public spotlight regarding the various polemics that have occurred.
Most recently, he was reported to Bareskrim Polri in connection with a case of alleged blasphemy.
The leadership of the Al Zaytun Panji Gumilang Islamic Boarding School is now being investigated as a reported case of alleged blasphemy at the Bareskrim building, South Jakarta (Jaksel), today, Monday (3/7/2023).

It is known that there were two police reports (LP) against Panji Gumilang.
In both reports, Panji Gumilang was accused of violating Article 156 A of the Criminal Code on blasphemy.
The first report was filed by the Pancasila Defense Advocate Forum (FAPP) which was registered with Number: LP/B/163/VI/2023/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI.

Then the second report on Panji Gumilang was made by NII Crisis Center Founder Ken Setiawan.
The report is registered with the number LP/B/169/VI/2023/SPKT/BAREKRIM POLRI dated 27 June 2023.
The Director for General Crimes (Dirtipidum) Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro said that now the two reports had been combined into one for investigation.
“Everyone, we make one LP,” he said. Panji Gumilang himself is known as the founder and leader of Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School.
Panji Gumilang is the founder and leader of the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School which was built by the Indonesian Islamic Boarding School Foundation (YPI) on August 13, 1996.
The man whose full name is Abdussalam Rasyidi Panji Gumilang is also the founder of YPI.
