BONSERNEWS.com – The government through the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB) explained the fate of 2.3 million honorary workers whose positions will be removed in November 2023.
MenPAN-RB Abdullah Azwar Anas said that his party was preparing several options regarding this matter.
However, he has not explained what options Kemenpan-RB will take to address the problems of millions of honorary workers in Indonesia.

According to him, he ensured that the solution chosen would not result in mass dismissals.
Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) instructed that the issue of honorary workers be resolved through a middle way.
“We are looking for a permanent solution in the ASN Law. Indeed, there are directions from the President so that a middle ground is found,” he said.

Abdullah Azwar Anas added that the fate of the 2.3 million hoorer workers would later be regulated in the State Civil Apparatus Law (UU ASN).
“We are working on the ASN Act. Hopefully this August will be completed so that it can become an exit for the completion of the 2.3 million honorary workers,” he said.
