Abdullah Makhmud Hendropriyono is the Head of the State Intelligence Agency in the Gotong Royong Cabinet.
Abdullah Makhmud Hendropriyono studied at the Magelang National Military Academy in 1967.
His career in the military was quite long, including becoming Director of the Strategic Intelligence Agency in 1990 and becoming Commander of the Jakarta Raya Regional Military Command in 1993.

Outside of his career in the military and political fields, Abdullah Makhmud Hendropriyono was chairman of the Indonesian Boxing Commission from 1994 to 1998.
