BONSERNEWS.com – The future presidential candidate (bacapres) Anies Baswedan met again with important figures in Saudi Arabia.
One of the figures the former Governor of DKI Jakarta met was the Imam, Khatib, and Person in Charge, Halaqah Al-Quran at the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Muhsin bin Muhammad Al-Qasim.

“Alhamdulillah, last night after Maghrib, we were able to return to stay in touch with the Imam, Khatib, and Person in Charge, Halaqah Al-Quran at the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Muhsin bin Muhammad Al-Qasim,” wrote Anies.

During the meeting, continued Anies, he discussed many things, starting from the various solemnities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages.
“Halaqah Al-Quran activities and memorandum of turots books both directly at the Prophet’s Mosque (offline) and remotely (online), the benefits of which are now being felt by millions of people from various countries in the world,” he continued.
Anies also said that Abdul Muhsin appreciated the Indonesian pilgrims who were very solemn, patient, and always united in carrying out the whole series of pilgrimages.

“And these people from Indonesia have a special place in his heart, because every day he looks at and listens to the recitation of the Al-Quran recited by Indonesians both directly at the Prophet’s Mosque and those who take part in remote (online) programs.” said Anies.
“Subhanallah, a conversation that, God willing, will bring blessings to all of us, and we pray that he will always be given health and strength, and always be under His protection in carrying out every task as Imam at the Prophet’s Mosque,” he concluded.
Anies is in Saudi Arabia in order to perform the pilgrimage this year.
