BONSERNEWS.com – Minister of State Civil Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas indicated the 2023 Eid al-Adha holiday would be 3 days.
This is because, apart from the National Holiday on June 29, 2023, June 28 and June 30 are proposed to be collective leave.
“There is a suggestion that apart from the 29th national holiday, the 28th is proposed to be a joint leave. Then the 30th is clamped. It is also proposed to be a joint leave,” said Abdullah Azwar Anas.

He hopes that a decision regarding the addition of the Eid al-Adha 2023 holiday can be made soon.
“Now this is waiting for the process. Hopefully a decision will be issued soon. That’s about it. So it’s not just a suggestion from Muhammadiyah friends,” he said.

The MenPAN-RB also said that the proposal for additional joint leave had already been discussed at a meeting at the State Secretariat.
He emphasized that the addition of joint leave for Eid al-Adha 2023 was not just a suggestion from Muhammadiyah.
“This is the school children’s holiday, so the quality of this family will be even better in the future,” he explained.
“But overall this is related to how this economy also moves to the regions. Because every holiday that is more than 2 days, the movement to the regions is also high. And encourages economic equality to grow in various regions,” he continued.
